Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman ordered the release of prisoners who rioted in the Prophet’s Mosque.
Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman, on the occasion of the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, made a big decision for the imprisoned Pakistanis and ordered the release of all the Pakistanis imprisoned in the rioting incident in the Prophet’s Mosque.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif requested the release of the arrested Pakistanis and asked Prince Mohammed bin Salman to act with mercy.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the Saudi Crown Prince and said that may Allah reward him.
It should be noted that the Pakistanis who rioted in the Prophet’s Mosque were sentenced by the Madinah court. Out of which 3 Pakistanis were sentenced to 8 years and 3 to 6 years in prison.
Among the prisoners, Khawaja Luqman, Muhammad Afzal, Ghulam Muhammad were sentenced to 8 years and Anas, Arshad and Muhammad Salim were sentenced to 6 years in prison. Another Pakistani, Tahir Malik, was also jailed for 3 years and fined 10,000 riyals.
