Asad Umar said in a tweet that there will be protest meetings in all cities at 5 pm. They will show them that no one can suppress a truly free nation. I will participate in the protest at Liberty Chowk in Lahore.
Yesterday too, PTI workers protested across the country against the attack on Imran Khan, the police in Faizabad shelled the protesters and arrested many. On the call of Tehreek-e-Insaf in Wazirabad, party workers came out on the streets and blocked Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Chowk. Workers of Tehreek-e-Insaf raised slogans against the government, burnt tires and blocked the road. In Mianwali too, against the attack on Imran Khan, a large number of PTI workers along with local leaders protested at Jajal Chowk. The traffic towards Ganga was jammed.
On the other hand, workers also protested at Shahdara Chowk, near Kalma Chowk on Ferozepur Road, Thokar Niaz Baig and Babu Sabu. Shahrah Faisal in Karachi, GT Road in Haripur, Dina Suhawah in Jhelum, the magnificent Chowk Jhelum were blocked by protestors led by Raja Yawar Kamal. In Mandi Bahauddin, on Mandi Gujrat Road, Narowal, Sialkot Phatak, Lahore, Sialkot, Pasrur and other cities were suspended. PTI workers raised slogans in favor of Imran Khan.
