The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved K Electric’s fourth quarter adjustment for the financial year 2021-22.
K Electric had requested an increase of Rs 14 53 paise per unit as part of the fourth quarter adjustment.
In this regard, the authority held a public hearing on the quarterly adjustment on August 31. As per the old practice, the government maintains a uniform tariff across the country.
As per notification issued by Nepra, the difference in tariff is adjusted through subsidy.
