Pakistan Warns of Imminent Military Clash with India Within Days

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has issued a grave warning that a military conflict with India could break out within the next 2 to 4 days, citing the dangerously escalating situation following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people were killed.

Speaking to reporters, Asif revealed that Pakistan’s armed forces are on high alert and have reinforced their defensive positions along the Line of Control (LoC). He stressed that while Pakistan seeks peace, it will not hesitate to respond with full strength if provoked.

The Defence Minister clarified that Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities are a last-resort deterrent, to be considered only if the country’s sovereignty and existence are directly threatened.

Tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors have sharply increased since Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi blamed Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack. Cross-border skirmishes, visa suspensions, and diplomatic expulsions have further deteriorated relations.

International observers and the United Nations have urged restraint, but so far, neither side has backed down, raising fears of a larger regional conflict.
