In a statement, billionaire Sajjan Jindal refutes the serious accusation that he sexually assaulted a 30-year-old model in Mumbai. He described the accusations as “false and baseless” and pledged to assist law authorities with the inquiry to the fullest extent possible.
The woman, who goes by “actor” on social media, claimed to have met the 64-year-old Jindal a few years ago at a cricket match in Dubai. They allegedly became pals, according to her.
She claimed that the billionaire had sexually assaulted her in January 2022 at the corporate headquarters of JSW Group. She further claimed that the industrialist had made a marriage proposal to her.
On December 13, a formal complaint was filed under IPC sections 376 (rape), 354 (outraging modesty of a lady), and 506 (criminal intimidation).
In a statement released today in his individual capacity, Sajjan Jindal described the accusations as “false and baseless,” according to PTI.
“He is determined to cooperate completely with the investigation. We won’t be making any more comments at this time while the inquiry is still ongoing,” the statement stated.
The statement also asked that the family’s privacy be respected by the media.
She added that they went for a drive together after meeting at Jindal Mansion in south Mumbai before to the alleged rape. She claimed that ever after the purported rape, Sajjan Jindal had avoided her.
The apartment at the company’s headquarters in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex is where the crime, according to the woman, happened.

But she said that in January 2022, he brought her to the penthouse and sexually assaulted her.
“He threatened me with dire consequences if I approached the police before blocking my number in June 2022,” the woman claimed.
