Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s long march has strongly condemned the assassination attack on Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan by national team captain Babar Azam, Shadab Khan and other players.
It may be noted that in Wazirabad, PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container was fired upon, in which former Prime Minister, Senator Faisal Javed and PTI leader Ahmed Chatta and others were injured.
After this incident, the big names of the sports world condemned the attack and described the incident as very sad.
Babur Azam
The captain of the national team, Babar Azam, while condemning the murderous attack on Imran Khan, wrote on the social networking site Twitter that the chairman strongly condemns this heinous attack on PTI, may God bless the captain and protect our beloved Pakistan. Say, Amen.
Shadab Khan
Vice captain Shadab Khan also took to Twitter and wrote that he has just heard the news, may Allah keep everyone safe and healthy, pray that the incident will be investigated and peace will always be maintained in Pakistan.
In another tweet, he wrote that I pray that Imran Khan is fine and those who were injured in this attack recover as soon as possible. I request the entire country to maintain peace.
Iftikhar Ahmed
Pakistan cricket team all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed also tweeted strongly condemning the murderous attack on Imran Khan, in which he wrote that the prayers of all Pakistan are with you brother Imran Khan, may God bless you and yours very soon. May all the workers get well soon, Amen.
Muhammad Hafeez
Former national team captain Muhammad Hafeez tweeted and wrote that I strongly condemn the attack on Imran Khan, I pray that he is safe and recovers soon, Amen.
Shoaib Akhtar
Speed star Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as Rawalpindi Express, released a video message and wrote in the caption that he heard about the attack on Imran Khan, Alhamdulillah he is fine and his spirit is high. At the same time, he condemned by sharing the video clip after the attack.
