During the police encounter in Thana City limits, one bandit was killed by his own accomplices while two others escaped.
The robbers were fleeing after committing an incident with a citizen in the police station limits of Dipalpur area, when they encountered the police party, the unknown robbers opened fire on the police party indiscriminately.
The police party also retaliated under the right of self-defense, during the firing, the robber was killed by his own accomplices and two robbers managed to escape.
According to the police, the stolen motorcycle, illegal weapons, cash and mobile phones were recovered from the crime scene.
