Senior journalist Arshad Sharif was laid to rest after performing funeral prayers at Shah Faisal Mosque.
Extraordinary security arrangements were made for the funeral prayers. A heavy contingent of Islamabad Police and FC was deployed around Shah Faisal Masjid.
The participants in the funeral prayer were allowed to enter after a search of their clothes. Arshad Sharif was buried in H11 cemetery.
It should be noted that Arshad Sharif’s post-mortem was conducted at Pims Hospital yesterday.
